We can reclaim Gift Aid taxes on your donations. This includes all donations for this year and the previous four years, plus any future donations unless we notify you otherwise. You only need to confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and have paid or will pay sufficient Income or Capital Gains Tax in each tax year to cover all the tax that will be reclaimed Gift Aid Form

Please note, due to all staff working from home, your cheque might not be processed and banked in the next few months. If at all possible, we would be so grateful if you could try online giving instead.

The Church welcomes all contributions from its members and parishioners, and if you would like to start donating via standing order or plan to change the amount of your donation, please can you also complete the box below and return it to the Church office.

If you are a new contributor and a tax payer, please also complete the gift aid section and return it to the Church office. Gift aid allows the Church to reclaim the basic rate of tax on your donations which increases the value of your donation by 25% (ie the Church receives £1.25 for every £1.00 donated).

Payroll giving via your employer

Many employers offer Payroll Giving which allows you to give directly to St Barnabas Church from your salary before tax is deducted. This means if you give £100 per month and are a basic rate taxpayer, the gift will only cost you £80 from your net pay. If you pay a higher rate of tax, £100 a month will only cost you £60 from your net pay. To find out if your employer offers Payroll Giving, contact your HR office.
