Morning prayers

Introduction: Prayer in the church lounge (led or free) each morning at 8.30am

Start the day in prayer with others in the church lounge, reading the Bible, praying for the community and the wider world, for the sick, for one another. Most days we read the Bible and pray informally according to the needs and desires of those present; sometimes we pray using the order for 'Prayer During the Day' from the Common Worship resources.

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. On Friday mornings the prayer time is more informal using a 'creative' approach and is held in the creche at the back of church (access through the church hall or via the rear door).

On Wednesdays and Saturdays the church lounge is usually open for free private prayer from 10am (Wed.) or 12 noon (Sat.) until around 5pm.
